Hello, and Welcome to Dichotomic Kingdom!
I have long pondered how to answer the question of what share with you about myself and my motivations as it requires a level of vulnerability to the world for which I have a rather large distaste-I do not know how to respond other than to be rather blunt:
I write for the words that we struggle to express when we access the parts of us we are told to fear. I write to show humanity lives even in rage or heartbreak, and to give trauma a voice where terror and hypervigilance would normally win. I write to put pain into prose and potential into poetry. I write to give life to prophecy.
I write to give length to legacy because I know one day I will be naught but ashes and dust. I write to grant my family a place within history that cannot be erased; to immortalize those who I love because I fear they will be forgotten.
More than anything I write to examine the chaos and balance of humanity and give it a story you may read and know you were never alone in loss nor celebration.
I consider the world a mold to shape and life a journey to scribe.
